Belkin Networking.

Featured Replies

I've used a Belkin Networking Starter Pack for the past 3 years so as to allow my son Internet access, it's just 2 cards 1 for my PC and 1 for my son's. and both PC's connected by cable via a router that works off my Broadband Modem.

For some strange reason a couple of weeks ago my son was unable to use his IE browser, it just wont connect but he is able to access the internet for P2P. Does anyone have any ideas as to why his browser wont work, he carnt look at any web pages and how it might be fixed ?

open internet explorer, click file, make sure work offline is unticked.

Go to tools, internet options, connections, LAN settings and make sure automatically detect settings is ticked.

If that doesn't work try using mozilla firefox to rule out an internet explorer problem.

If none of these work, turn off your firewall briefly and try connecting then. Or if your comforatable with it, go into your firewall settins and make sure internet explorer is not blocked.
