  1. Thanks for the great guide. I managed to get my cape using it :). I used the polypore staff and it worked just fine. One thing I did notice though. You say to start off praying range on wave 26, you should pray mage as I'm pretty sure there is a 400 that spawns to the north on that wave. That is definitely not a critisism, just an observation. Thanks again for the guide, I couldn't have done it without it.
  2. Depends. Did you have a recovery disk with the vista computer? or did you have to create your own when you first got the computer (most people don't do this in my experience). It may be that you have a recovery partition, as long as the partition wasn't wiped/written over when you installed xp you may be able to. With regards to the xp wired connection, no two ways about it you need the driver. It may be able to use one of the bult in xp drivers but it sounds like it hasn't so you need that driver. Who installed xp for you, they should have installed your network card really. Network cards are very cheap though so you could save time by buying a new one and installing it in the computer. Ideally you should get somebody who knows what they are doing to fix your computer. Either way Good Luck
  3. Unless you have the recovery disks, go to the laptop manufacturers site, go to the support pages and download the drivers for your laptop and put them on a usb memory stick or burn them to a cd/dvd. If you do have the disks, restore the laptop to factory settings and when you are up and running go to the maufacturers site and check for updated drivers.
  4. Tab Mix Plus, excellent if you like to take control of your tabs
  5. It may not be as pretty as it used to be, but for me pages load much quicker and smoother than they used to. There's going to be glitches, but I'm sure the staff at tip.it will sort them all out eventually. It is a shame to lose 3 months worth of posts, but as someone already said, that's life. Thought all the staff did a sterling job to get back online so soon. Bravo tip.it crew oober
  6. Just killed 147 Nechryael, 46 crimson, 4 gold, 1 blue and 3 green. took me about 1 hr 40 mins. edit:silly me didn't realise i had 51 left of the task, so I killed 97 to get that many charms. oober
  7. It may be the homehub firewall blocking your xbox, I'm not overly familiar with the homehub interface, but if you go into the homehub configuration pages, you will see some sort of option for the firewall settings, see if your device is blocked in there, if not there may be an option to add, or allow a device. try adding the xbox using it's ip address or mac address As I say, I'm not that familiar with the homehub interface, so you may well want to await more assistance from someone with more knowledge of the homehub. oober
  8. I just killed 187 infernal mages and I got 63 gold, 2 crimson 2 green and 1 blue, it took me about an hour. I didn't read the whole thread so infernal mages may have already been suggested. oober
  9. Just for the record, you are looking in the correct place? network settings>edit settings>additional settings >advanced settings. at the bottom of the page under wired mac address. oober
  10. Ok, try disconnecting the xbox 360, then have a look and see if that unkown device is still there. oober
  11. That is probably your xbox mac address. You can check by going into the xbox dashboard and check in the network settings. oober
  12. I think you were quite clear in asking your question, not that hard to understand it :) Myself, a bit of both I'd say. I like to think I'm a logical (brain) person , but sometimes, when logic is telling me, "yes, this is what you should do and you can clearly see this is the right thing to do" my gut felling (my heart) tells me otherwise. Sometimes I follow that feeling, sometimes I don't. nice question oober edit:just realised you were'nt the one who asked the question. oh well nevermind, still a nice question.
  13. You don't need to remove them, just buy a pci usb addon card, or you can buy ones which connect to a spare usb header on your motherboard. This is not guaranteed to fix your problem though. oober
  14. That is probably because the homehub updates itself automatically without you knowing and therefore changed the status of your nat settings. The homehub is compatible with xbox live, it just isn't on the official list. Go Here and follow the istructions. If you are not comfortable doing so, ask a friend who is comfortable doing it for some help. And go Here for all your xbox live needs. Good luck oober
