I have the bait, the little karambwanji fish, but when i try and get the vessel off that fishing guy south of brimhaven he just shouts at me saying I ruined his business. How do i get the vessel please?

Go to the Tai Bwo Village, and then go to the south end of it, there will be 3 houses, each with a brother in it. Go to the one who you helped get the fish, and you will then be able to buy the fish, and vessel from him.

Right, i've got the vessel (thank you very much :)), but where do i fish with it. When i try and use the spot by lubufu (south of brimhaven) he again yells at me. Any advice?

You need to go to the log shortcut and cross the river to where the busted glider is, then straight north will lead you to the spots where you catch them.

Thanks from me too! Of the half dozen thread I read asking for help, this is the only one that answered the question. The only thing I'd clarify is that the fishing spot is on the east side of the river. So cross the log to get to the east side, then go due north. It's on the shore right there next to the fairy ring.
