Well i wanna make a sugestion about knifes

 

 

 

they should be wieldible (of course, BAD stats) but it would be a nice weapon and really cheap for newbs

Have you ever heard of the knife bug? Back in RSC due to a bug the knife became the most powerful weapon imaginable, alot of peoples abused it in duel arena and other places...

 

 

 

So they definitely are'nt going to bring back knives as a weapon.. would be like a bad joke.

but not so strong...just like a bronze dagger but it would be cheaper and better for newbs

Then why not create the throwing bucket? A stackable bucket that you can throw at goblins? :roll: (Sarcasm)

 

 

 

If you want to play with knives do some of the recipe for disaster quests and buy one from the chest.

Im asking for this update cuz it would be better to F2Ps newbs that started today at right in this time so they wouldn't spend all their money in noob stuff they will spend like 1-2 gps for it (not trowknifes just stab and slash attacks mode)

It would be totally useless and serve no purpose at all.. and why would a starting weapon better then the one we use spawn in the cellar? Should new players start with a knife? Why should a small kitchen knife be stronger then any dagger or sword?

not START with a knife but for newbs don't get scammed the knife will costs 2 gps in max so they will have money (selling the bronze dagger) and they will have the knife with the same bonuses as the dagger

Here is my point, please read it in whole :

 

- It would add nothing useful to the game.

 

- It doesnt make sence that a small knife(Which is meant to be a cooking tool) would do as much damage as a dagger(which is a weapon meant to kill. Even the bronze one)

 

- The knife is already used in many quests. If they updated the knife as a weapon, then peoples would think : "Why can I only use a knife for that, since its a weapon? Why cant I use a ddp instead??"

 

 

 

And finally, the most important one :

 

- Fletchers would kill you if they had to right-click their knife then click the logs to do their skill, instead of simply clicking it.. And again they will think : "Why cant I cut logs with my dragon 2h instead??? It would look way better!"

 

 

 

I just hope you see my point.. Sure it would be fun :) But its not worth adding to the game, and would change too much things.

yeah it would be better to fletchers so they wouldn't have to right clik blah blah blah...just it will appear one option saying this: "(dunno how is to fletch) logs"

A little bit inconvenient.. and too complex for such a simple skill

 

 

 

- The logs would have the option on them :

 

It would be kinda annoying for free players..

 

 

 

- The logs would have the option on them, only when a kinfe is worn :

 

The game engine cant do that sorry.. An item has set properties.. you cant change the option without changing the whole item.

 

 

 

- The option come up when you equip the knife :

 

Then it would still take some space.. + you would have to unequip it after..

they made more un realistic things posible... adding an option to the logs then you have a knife wielded is posible... but this is about noobisch wapons...

And please remind me any event where an options appear on an item? Options that werent there before? Im pretty sure the game doesnt allow that, the only way to do it is to switch the item for another..

 

 

 

The proof is anything that can degrade, its not the same item with different properties, its a completely new set of items.
