Troubleshooting with Java not loading

Featured Replies

I'm trying to play RS, but everytime the login page loads (y'know, the page wehre you play the game itself), Runescape doesn't. Everytime I try, I get the message:

Several Java Virtual Machines running in the process caused an error.

I'm not quite computer-savvy, so would someone please help? Thanks. :D

Are you using Firefox or IE? If you're using IE, try going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs -> Manage add-ons, and you should see a list. In that list should be something like "Java Plug-in 1.6.0_01". I think that your problem is that you have more than one of these. Look at the numbers and try deleting the oldest versions of the Java Plug-in. Hope this helps. :-k
