blade995
Get a better computer. Not everybody can just go out and buy a new computer when something is wrong. Try to suggest some good advice next time. To make it less laggy you can lower the frame rate of the video (set it for 20fps) and lower the video quality.
skill4eva
i could do that or do u think i should just delete some files on my pc i don't need so i don't get lagged with the memory 'n stuff. Yeah, well. Definately not me! LOL!
blade995
If you mean delete stuff on the hard drive, it would not help much if at all. If you don't have a lot of ram you could close some programs and have just the Runescape (or whatever your recording) windows and hypercam open. My suggestions about changing the settings would be the best and easiest way for it not to lag.

zonda
IF you know what your doing, you can also disable a good ammount of the system's "services" that take up a lot more RAM then they should. If not, don't bother wasting your time. Aside from that, run disk defrag and disk cleanup tools from: start >> programs >> accessories >> system tools this should be done every couple weeks at least. You might want to do it over night because it may take quite a while depending on when it was last done (if ever) and how large your hard drive is. You'll only notice significant slow down caused by a hard drive if its 90% (give or take) full or more. ...
