Easy quest I know but when it comes to killing Sigmond I can't seem to. I've been told to use the mace to take his prayer away but coz of the cut sence I can't seem to get to him quick enough!!

The same thing happened to me. I had hit him with the mace's special only to have it not work. I had to wait until the special recharged again to hit him and take his prayer away.
