This is just a simple image I tried making...so I would like your feedback.

 

 

 

I plan to eventually try going into making pixel art as a hobby :D .

You did a good job on the saving, you must know to always save as PNG or something. Well besides the handle the shape is pretty good. It is very unwise to use the base colors paint gives you, just double click them and use custom colors. go for around the middle of the color board for more realism.

as a guy like me who loves his art, you doin better than me at pixel art. as said, change handle to perhaps a tatery steel colour, and tone the brightness down therwise, you got theshape well. =D>
