  1. Some of you blame parents, others the alcohol. I blame the two for making the choice to drink to the point where they got drunk, especially because they were responsible for taking care of the kid.
  2. You know what I think? I think these two are misunderstanding each other, accidentally insulting/annoying each other while thinking themselves to be in the right to some extent, and at least one of them is a bit grudgy.
  3. In my personal experience, keris seems to hit better than my whip against kalphite soldiers (105 combat, black mask).
  4. Legends + Fairy Ring if you really, really, really want your own trees.
  5. Feeder skill. Pking was one of many consumers in the game (and still is to a lesser extent: Bounty Hunter) while the 3 skills you mentioned are feeder skills into the game; they drive a large part of the game. Problems: Take out those skills, and you'll make several refinement skills (like smithing, cooking, fletching) obsolete... OR ...you'll have to turn what's left, combat, into a feeder skill just like in MapleStory. Somehow I don't see that working in Runescape with its limited geographic size and limited spawns. I don't see too much room to put a ton of monsters that drop raw materials. Even if you made fewer monsters drop more material, you would find that everybody would compete to kill the monsters, causing problems.
  6. Doesn't the exp count actually go beyond 200 million even if it only shows upto 200 million? If so, then that's what determines the order.
  7. 70% of the mage defense is from Magic lvl, and 30% from defense.
  8. Because a revenant orc pwned the crud out of me...and I was praying against it too. It took it about 8 seconds to K.O. me with its 20+ hits.
  9. Woah. Just woah. That's like 1/1000 times the kills that the luckier people have  10/10
  10. How about that Edgeville Dungeon section of Wildy? Chaos Druids, Black Demons, and Earth Warriors might be good...if there aren't any revenants down there.
  11. There's not much depth to the pixels, especially #2. See how the sky is a very bright blue? It makes it look as though it's like some sky backdrop placed smack behind the character. You could try to make it a more subtle, faded blue like a real sky and make a horizon.
  12. In arguments, one must have representative examples that show the reality of things, not generalizations. The thesis in the letter, which seems to be something along the lines that atheists cause all the evil in the world, is far too oversimplified and does not represent the reality of things in the world, and thus cannot be proven. In short, the letter fails. Atheists shouldn't stereotype Christians and others, but it's just as bad the other way around.
  13. Andrew Gower's mod account is called Andrew, methinks. The spacing in the chat box seems a bit off but good job. 8/10
  14. Thanks. That price is for each individual ore, right?
  15. Hmm. I don't know. I'm taking a break right now but will enjoy making natures in my self-sufficient playing style because the abyss is safer. I see what you mean though
  16. There's an update today (Mon. 10/12) where the dwarf at the Blast Furnace will unnote your ores for "a small fee". Would anybody be willing to find out what that fee is? (I'm not a member at the moment)
  17. Is that supposed to be a guy watching TV? If so, you've captured his bored mood very nicely. It looks like "nothing good on...again"
  18. ^ Holy crud. Warrior + Satenza pretty much summed up the whole nature of this argument  Sorry if this seems irrelevant, but I think it gives a bit of direction to exactly what we're arguing about.
  19. ^ Yeah, and I don't see any way around that cop-out...unless you can show me one. The thing is, God as we seem to be trying to talk about him is the spiritual God that can't be proven by the 5 senses and stuff, so I'm really unsure as to what logic's going to do except show that it can neither prove nor disprove God...unless you're trying to disprove something like a Bible's description of a certain God/god by falsifying each God/god's respective Bible. Yeah, methinks that my sleep-deprived brain is confused too : .
  20. ^ Sorry dude, but you're being a bit emotional there. This isn't exactly a flamefest (for the most part), and is (mostly) a discussion. You're telling us to just live with our own opinions? If you really care that much, please put up a better reason than "it hurts other people's feelings", because I don't think the serious debaters here are out to do so. Infact, I would say that a reason not to debate here is that there isn't a mediator, we're not professional theologians and junk, etc.
  21. Before I even try to enter the discussion, I have a few questions: Who (which God) are we arguing about? Not every God is the same. Yes, the Christian God is different from say...the God of Orthodox Judaism and etc etc. There (in the first 8 pgs that I read) seems to be a neverending cycle of no-God people trying to enforce logic on an omni-potent/present/scient God who made everything. How does this work, exactly? (neutral question. Don't assume that I'm asking in any kind of sarcastic tone) I can see how both sides are arguing (upto the end of those 8 pages), and neither side seems to be talking about the same thing, and some people on the same sides don't even seem to be discussing the same god or God. Infact, a lot of people seem to be trying to talk about the Christian God but have a very, very skewed view of him. So very skewed. Laughably skewed. Also, some seem to be talking about a totally random god Oh, and I laugh at all of you who post something along the lines of "religion is just something that people believe because they want to" or something irrelevant like that. Stop posting that stuff.
  22. ^ In arguments/discussions, it helps to know what you're talking about. If you had read the Behind the Scenes, you would've seen that the tombstones are temporary.
  23. I've gotten a few pieces. It's a random drop, really. Some of my shades dropped pieces while the others didn't.
