Honestly, people, they're the dumbest things in RuneScape. If you walk behind a tree, they can't attack you. Hell, I had a vampire and an icefiend stacked behind one tree when I was rune mining once. So what's your story? Why do you still think revenants are dangerous?

Because a revenant orc pwned the crud out of me...and I was praying against it too. It took it about 8 seconds to K.O. me with its 20+ hits.

Not every place in wilderness has a convinient rock or tree to shelter yourself... I'll take a guess and say you're a member? Go to a F2P server with full rune/D'hide, a rune scimmy, and a full inventory of swordies. You'll get DESTORYED... They teleblock and freeze, something that F2P doesn't even have the capabilitiy to do...

 

EDIT: I think the max hit in F2P is 24? Revanents are known to do 20s consistently...

I was hit a 25 doing a clue.

I look at the bright side of this: Level 3 clue rewards will soar in price due to further difficulty in solving the clues than before.

 

 

 

Imagine having a "wear a dragon chainbody, bob the cat shirt and bronze mace and giggle in front of the greater demons in the ruins of the wilderness" clue.

i was teleblocked, poisoned - dealt 7's then 6s, and mage attacked for 10 sharks then died once i got to ardy(from poison) while doing a clue

 

-- i didnt have a weapon or armor or run energy or antis or anything really

 

but they can do some damage

In f2p where your best weapon is a rune scimmy, your best armour green dragon hide, and you have no potions to remove the poison?

Died at least twice on my mining pure, full green dhide, running away, I was dealt 20s and entangled, by lvl 75s... FTP mages cant hit that far or that hard.

Me and a group of friends went out to kill some. We did this in F2P because it's much safer (no teleblocks or poison) We managed to take down only one vampire because of revanants regen.

 

 

 

Then... a knight and 3 orc found us and we got annihilated. The knight hit a 30 on me, and koed us in less than a minute.

 

 

 

Be afraid? Yes.

i like fighting them, its much more fun than normal NPC's, to bad they don't drop anything.

They're more of a threat on f2p than p2p, but they are a pain on p2p, no doubt. Less dangerous than pkers since they can't call and they can't run, but i dont like getting tb'd, frozen, and poisoned on my way to mage bank from ardy

Because lvl 68's can hit two 20's on you in the course of 10 seconds.

They do drop stuff, however rarely. I got 78 coins from the vampire I killed.

Oh you just die and leave a gravestone, go to nearest bank -> Annakarl Teleport -> pray range and take items -> no harm done.

It can be fun fighting them at times on P2P though, they're like bosses... Without the drops :? (Gorys and a DDS don't count). Gotta admit though, sucks when you're training on earth warriors or collecting herbs and a orc rev just floats through the agility obsticle, TBs and freezes you inside the earth warrior area (They can shoot through the monkey bars aswell).

 

 

 

But P2Pers are overacting overall, they're looking at how F2Pers have it and think they have it the same and start saying it's impossible. P2Pers, TRY IT and you will see that sharks are enough for you to survive on and if you really want keep a sara pot on backup. No one says you have to kill them either, you just have to beat RS's AI as far as chasing goes. No challenge there.

i feel they are much more of an annoyance then a pker, as i have never seen a pker and been attacked by 1 in the random areas of the wilderness since 6months of the introduction of ancients

Picture this. You are an amoeba. Now picture that amoeba going straight into the path of a nuclear warhead. The warhead is a revenant.

Attacked and tb'd doing a clue. Ran to mage bank, hid behind webs, waited it out (logging out DOES NOT STOP TB). Then, a knight spawns INSIDE the webs next to the lever. I died almost instantly.

I got hit for a 31 before teleing while runecrafting through the abyss. They may not be very intelligent, but they sure do pack a punch. Luckily, they don't stick around for long.

Wow. Horrible comparison. The revenants aren't that bad, especially with gravestones and no skulling.

1- They aren't smart. Yes Mr. lv 68 vampire is gonna atk me, a 114 while I'm in high wild. No pker was ever that dumb.

 

 

 

2- Pkers wouldn't bother you while hunting, and depending, some don't bother with green dragon slayers.. rev's always do..

 

 

 

EDIT: 3- rev's have infinate food
