Congrats! I too took a similar length of break and just started playing again a few weeks ago too. Good luck with 99rc. There's certainly a lot less incentive to get that high than there used to be.

With my stats, prosylete, and soul wars cape, I turmoil 220+ greater demons with about 15/16 doses of normal prayer pots at 99 prayer. And piety's drain rate with no prayer bonus is 1.5 seconds/point, while turmoil's is 2.0 seconds/point.

I cringe when I see a fletching cape because the color scheme just looks bad to me. Cooking cape doesn't look half bad though.

This update has caused a huge speed up for my game. Used to have to have my settings around the mid range, now I can have everything on, including x4 AA, and be at 50 fps in most areas. Edit: My laptop also doesn't get anywhere near as warm as it used to before the update.

Sounds good! It's kinda hard to use mousekeys when you don't have a numpad and have to work on a condensed laptop keyboard. Check out autohotkey. I use it whenever I need to remap keys for games or to make handy shortcuts for everyday use. As far as I know, you can map multiple keys to do the same thing (ex: a=x, b=x, c=x; so when you hit any of a, b, or c, you'll get x instead). It would be a violation of the rules though if you were to cause more than one action for one keystroke though.

I'm wondering if I can use autohotkey (a program that remaps keys and mouse movements to other keys) to accomplish tasks that mousekeys would normally be used for. It does the exact same thing as using mousekeys. Nothing would be automated as the name 'auto'hotkey might suggest. I would gain no advantage over anyone using standard mousekeys.

Does the ferocious ring add on 40 damage for every knife/dart thrown? If so, that extra damage could stack up really quickly considering the speed of which they're used.

Yeah, it was definitely helpful. Every time a ruby spec went off, I actually healed instead of losing 10% of my hp.

:-D My first try! It wasn't bad at all. Didn't even get to use my kyatt or terrorbird it went so quickly. Bringing a range pot and potting up when he's split into 4 illusions really helps to deal damage fast. For his normal mode I prayed soul split, leech range, and leech defense and switched to deflect melee when he went berserk. Ruby bolts for normal, diamond bolts for berserk. Equipment: Inventory: + 12 brews in terrorbird, which I never used.

Then range it is. I'll be going in there with ruby (e) bolts and I'll summon a kyatt when my terrorbird is done.

I just started playing again a week ago after a 3 year hiatus and I'm wondering if I should do this quest now for the nice prayer bonus or put it off until my summoning is higher. First off, current stats: 88 attack 85 strength 85 defense 99 range 99 mage 99 prayer 94 hitpoints 59 summoning With my current combat stats, do I stand a chance with only using a terrorbird instead of a tort? Should I be ranging or meleeing him with turmoil? I will be using soul split regardless to make up for the invy space I'll be lacking. I've also read of people using kyatt scrolls. Would sacrificing two inventory spaces for a kyatt pouch and scrolls be worth it with my already limited invy space?

Not many will remember me, but I'm strongly considering coming back from retirement! Haven't played for a few years and it looks like a ton of stuff has improved.

What classed have you been playing? I think I've gone through every class except engineer or pyro. I've done the best with medic, but then again I've only been played for an hour so far, so I don't have a good handle on the game yet.

I saw TF2 going for $2.49 today on steam so I decided to pick it up and give it a try. I currently suck at it, but I've only played for about an hour so far.

I'm using this exact one right now, and it runs like a dream. Shipping was pretty fast too: 4 days to ship from LA to my place in Canada. Only real downside I've found after a month of use is the length of the power cord. It's shorter than what I'm used to. I've also stretched the battery life to around 3:30 while only web browsing/light usage. And it barely gets warm even under intense use. My old laptop would practically burn my hand if I was to touch the bottom after heavy use. Including shipping and all other costs, it ended up being $1370 CDN.
