Is barrows worth it or not. Basically what is the best armour for normal use e.g. training

I would HIGHLY recommend barrows, assuming you have the stats.

 

 

 

It can be very enjoyable and bring in alot of cash, I myself made around 15 million after barrowing for just a few days :)

Depends on your level, but yes... it's definately worth it if you're able to play and complete each game in a reasonable length of time.

 

 

 

Even if you don't earn a barrows item, you are rewarded with high value runes and bolts, and the experience isn't too bad either.

 

 

 

The main draw back is the risk that it entails, and the frustration of not earning a barrows item in many runs.

 

 

 

Overall, definately worth it though.

sorry i think im misunderstood im on about the barrows armour, is it worth it... or is it worth sticking with a rune/dragon and whip mix for training purposes...

I think barrows is worth it, guthans for the healing, veracs for the kalphite queen and if you aren't that rich, toraq gives the best def for only 1,5 mil

It depends on what you train on.

 

Personally I reserve barrows armour to barrows, certain slayer monsters and a few high level monsters. Using rune on lower monsters as this allows you to save money on repair costs.
