Fishing for money?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I'm a F2P player and because that I'm a hybrid mage and ranger, I can neither use an above iron axe or woodcutting axe...Therefore it seems the only logical solution for money left is fishing.

So I got my fishing up to 54 and also cooking to 54, and I'm wondering now should I fish for raw lobbies and sell or raw swordies and sell? Or should I cook them first, sacrifice 20 gp for each of them and get some cooking XP? Would appreciate it if I get a little help or advice here.

PS: Can lobbies and swordies sell easily???

Since your thread name is fishing for money, I assume you need money more than xp. At current level, you should catch lobs and not swordies. They sell easy (250ea). Note that some people may buy cooked lobs for the same 250gp ea as raw.

Good to be gone :)

You can still woodcut and mine, you just can't wield the axe.
