Tenshi Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Well, I'm new to these boards, and I tend to stick to the graphics-side of Runescape boards for some reason, so I thought I might as well post my most recent work. Done in Adobe photoshop. CC and rating please :D I'm always wanting to make my work better [Ethereal Angel] There is an actual "head" which fits on that, but it was made for someone special and he'd rather I not show his face, so I just put a silhouette instead. That covers most of the work, so I'll also post the verison without the wings or the person. EDIT: love all of the new ones you posted too. did you draw the celestial angel and the santa girl? if you did props to you, theyre great great great. if not, they're still perfect for the backgrounds they are on. The "Season's Greetings" picture, I drew everything. However the background in the Ethereal Solace piece needs a bit more focus and direction IMO. The effects you used to create the wings could also be better, its a bit too flat right now, it doesn't have enough depth. The picture you drew for the seasons greetings piece is great. With the Christmas Tournament pictures, the pieces I made are definitely lacking, but that is because of the lack of time we had and the strict guidelines we were given. There wasn't ad much room for personal interpretation (well, there was room, but not a much. I have no clue how to draw wings in adobe without actually resorting to painting them, which isn't what that piece was about in my opinion. ^^ There actually is no focus area in Ethereal Solaris beause it is just the extraction of the background of Ethereal Angel, in which the "Angel" is the focus of attention (that or his wings and halo) Thanks for your comment...I reall, really appreciate it. XD I'm gonna attempt to keep improving, although I really should go back to pixelling like I used to...it seems to be a big craze here. o.o I shall conform and also make pixel stuff!
