i am wondering if many people will trade me ingredients for a prayer pot, in return for a prayer pot(3)?

Prayer pots are such a low level pot that almost anybody that takes the time to gather the ingredients will have the level to make it. To do this, you would probably have to trade P pots for Rannars straight up.

Just buy ranarrs,

 

go to crafting guild peninsula and take snape grass from there,.
