i was bored today and didnt felt like studying so i decided to try my hand at pixel... what started as some black and whites turned into this :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now the question is : am i shading right? ( General comment too pleash. )bcuz if im not, i know i have to change that... please dont flame at it tho, i just want some tips and CC.

EDIT : also, i know those rocks on the left look like glued against the big chunk of rock, so please leave that out :lol:

Anyway.. Block shading is good to start off with because you get a feel for where to get your light source and where the darkness should be, then once you get more advanced in pixels just shade your own way, and you will develope your own style.. Shade the blood though, barely anyone shades it and it looks terrible when it's not..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Save as .PNG also, .GIF causes colour los.

first of all thnx for the cooment :D and second its supposed to be some rocks with some grass on it 8) what exacctly do u mean with block shading? forgive my crappy english :lol:

Block shading is where you just shade with 1 color round the places that are dark.. But you are using highlights which is good.
