Windows Vista Problem

Recommended Posts

When I try to play Runescape in Internet Explorer on Vista, it changes the Visual Style to Vista Basic and I get an error saying there is no place to store the temporary files needed to play RS.

Runescape loads in FireFox, however, the visual style still changes.

Any way to fix this?

-Restart your computer. Some people don't restart their computers for months and end up with problems.

-Make sure you have the latest Java and don't have multiple verisons running.

-Try deleting your Temporary Internet File and Cookies.

-Try posting this under Tech Support on the Runescape Official Forums

-As a last resort, try deleting Runescape's file under: C:/Windows/.32 Jagex Cache. The file is hidden so you will have to change your settings.

Doing the step above will make Runescape reload itself.
