Lemurian
First attempt at Brewing since A Forgettable Tale. Objective: Cider. Right, I've followed the Tip.It-guide to perfection. And it says "Cider is fermenting in the vat." Now, it's just supposed to take around 24 hours. I started on Sunday. AND IT IS STILL FERMENTING! It still says "Cider is fermenting in the vat"! Have I done something wrong? Owner of Quest Cape since 11/9/2007 23:30! Working my butt off to get it back.
Gold_Tiger10
No, the tip.it guide for that brewing section is a little out of date. I brewed 2 batches of Chef's Delights one time. The first batch (in the Ghost Town, Port Phasmatys) took about 3 days. And the other batch (in the Dwarven City, Keldagrim) took only 2 days. The tip.it guide is clearly misinformed. Just give it some time, chill out, play some castle wars, tickle your kitty. 8-) 1 Add two buckets of water to a fermenting vat. 2 Add two lots of barley malt (this is made by using barley on a Cooking range) to the fermenting vat. 3 Add the main ingredient to the fermenting vat. 4 Lastly, add a pot of ale yeast. 5 Wait for several days (depending on the type of drink you are brewing). 6 Turn the valve to let the liquid run into the barrel. 7 Now simply use either a calquat keg or a beer glass on the barrel to empty the contents. here!
