Elemental Workshop 2: Pipe Problems

I'm currently halfway through the quest but an odd error keeps popping up everytime I work on the Junction box. I place all the pipes in the supposed "correct" order and the middle pipe (connecting top left to bottom right) keeps being displayed as being unable to reach both ends. As well, the quest log doesn't update to state that I fixed it so I doubt it is a simple graphic error.

 

 

 

Can someone tell me how to fix this so I can continue on with the quest?

U have to find a spare pipe first from all those crates in the room.

 

 

 

Then go upstairs and connect all the pipes in the junction box.

 

 

 

Okay now to the north of that junction, there is a huge pipe with a hole or gap on it, use the pipe u found on the crate with it and it should fix it. Most of the time, ppl just connected the junction and not fix the pipe on the 2nd floor as well
