Well i saw djscoobsta's thread and decided that it wouldnt be a bad idea to make my own...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I didnt make a sig basicly cuz ive got 4 very recent sigs, and 2 others that i need to pay for (but the guy aint online)

well thanks for letting me inspire u 8) well i have nevr been a fan of mountains goign from top 2 bottom (dont ask why) i think it looks unnatural.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if it joined of looked to join with the flat island it would look kewl

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also surface map needs more colors and maybe some atmoshpere work (maybe some mist or fog :) )

ya water and atmo are quite hard to get rite u have to make them work with oneand other and i believe thers a talent in it :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

not bad for 1st in over 8 months :o

badly rendered ocean, easily created in a terragen/bryce/vue espirt program, try producing in maya and rendering with a decent rendering engine, for example renderman or mental ray. ocean looks like plastic, low res textures, specular looks really [cabbage] on ocean, other than that , quite good depth of field and reasonable volumetric effects - this isnt my opinion comes off my friend who is incredibly talentd at producing cgi
