July 11, 200718 yr idk about p2p but there is one in an f2p area that i think is good. the iron in the dwarven mines are good. not alot of ppl use them most of the time and its fairly close to the fally east bank if you go through the mining guild. all you have to worry about are dumb scorpions that hit like a max of 4 Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers.
July 11, 200718 yr Honestly it shouldn't matter if your at a place with 2-4 rocks or a whole plethora. It takes 1 hit to mine iron with a rune pic axe and not that long for the ore to respond. That being said, I don't understand why you want a place with a lot of iron ore. You could mine just as much iron at a location with less iron ore. Being in P2P you don't have to really worry about tons of others stealing your rocks.

July 11, 200718 yr Other decent places for iron are NE of Ardougne, it's about as quick as Yanille if you use Ardy teles. The Grand Tree is nice because there are iron rocks in a room with addy and gold ores, you can pick up a few addy ores and mine iron in the time it takes for them to respawn, and close to a bank. Piscatoris has a good 3 rock mining spot where you don't have to move, and the bank is fairly close. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
July 11, 200718 yr Phistashios Colony is great to make and bank iron bars. You can quickly mine a load and smelt it into bars right on the way to the bank. As for banking iron ore, I find a scheme with runners in Al-Kharid mine working the best for me (in F2P world there are always people who would run for 1-1.5K per run) Runescape Reader's Digest
