it shows where all the alters are whereas on the full map it doesnt show any alters

The RuneScape map, or the Tip.it map?

 

 

 

edit: i see, its on the tip.it maps. I'm not quite sure why, but if you look at the runecrafting guide, it'll show you all the altars.

That may be because the f2p altars are all above ground, on the surface where they can actually be marked on a map. You'll notice:

 

 

 

Cosmic altar: in an extra-dimensional world

 

Chaos altar: underground in a four-level maze

 

Nature altar: above ground

 

Astral altar: above ground

 

Law altar: above ground

 

Death altar: somewhere in the mazes of MEpt2.

 

 

 

So you see, 1/2 the p2p altars can't really be mapped on the atlas.
