The New Random Event: Mr Mordaut's Classroom

Featured Replies

Right, well, I've just had the new random event and I thought you might want to know some details.

You are teleported [by the Mysterious Old Man I think] to a classroom containing several different animal pupils.

You then have to answer 'What comes next?' type questions. These usually have skill related items which are in the same skill, and you have to choose which item comes nex in the pattern. These questions are like the ones that you get when opening the chest at Barrows.

There is also another type of question you can get, but I only got the above question, so if you could update me on the other type it would be welcome.

You have to answer three questions like this and then you are told to go out of one of four doors around the classroom. I don't know what happens if you go out of the wrong door, but it is advised that you go out of the correct door to ensure you get a prize.

Once you have completed this random event correctly, you receive a 'Book of Knowledge' which works exactly like a genie lamp. You choose a skill to advance and confirm, it then gives you 15 times your level [in that skill] in bonus xp. In my example, I had 60 herblore and used my lamp to boost that, I gained 900xp.

Sorry that I do not have any pictures, but any other information regarding the new random event is much appreciated.

I have some pictures of the random.

In the following 3 questions, you have to pick which of the items on the bottom goes in order with the ones on top (similar to Barrows).

In this question, the answer is the one on the far left.

The answer is the kite shield (the 3rd option).

The answer is the pineapple (the 3rd option).

In this question, you have an option of 15 cards, and you have to click on the three that match with eachother (ex.: arrows & bows, runes & staves, ...ect.).

In this case, it would be the pirate hat (3rd row, 2nd on the left), the pirate's hook, and the eye patch.

There are a total of six different questions. These are only four of them. Enjoy.

OK, thanks for those, but just after posting this I realised there was a sticky for it. :wall:

So, I don't know if there's any more point in this thread. If Mod's feel this needs to be deleted then do so. =]

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
