I heard you can make pixel sigs in paint, not that I want to make any, but how can you cell shade in paint?

yea i started in paint and kept going i havnt used anything else and im half decent pixeler

From what I know, cell shading is shading pictures, using only a few colors not blended in together XD

 

 

 

I drew this picture of kyo, from fruits basket, and colord it using "cell shading". Although this was done in photoshop, you do the same with paint by drawing a line around the area you want to shade with the pencil tool, then fill it with the paint bucket tool. Although, I absolutely think cell shading looks terrible if not done right. XD

Paint is hard to get right. I prefer flash but it costs(if it weren't for that I'd be making sigs).

Nah from what I understand of cell shading your 100% correct.

Now where is the shade option in paint?

there is none, you have to manually change the colors to what you want, double click the color, go to custom colors, and darken it or lighten it.

Oh..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I see why these sigs take so long.

not really, took me at leasy 6hrs or so to do mine, and you don't even realy notice the time
