The Barrows Kill Count

Although i have not yet attempted barrows :oops: i was wondering does a higher kill count increase the chance of getting a barrows item or more runes. I have heard rumors that 11 kill count is fine, but 21 kill count gives you more runes, i have also heard that killing skeletons for more kill count increase the amount of blood runes rewarded and killing the rats increases money.

 

 

 

Any comments/help?

Kill count gets you more runes.

 

To tell you the truth, i've gotten 4 barrows items in about 25 trips and each time i got an item i only had 6 kill count.

 

I would say dont get a kill count higher then 10, it just wastes your time.

 

And the tunnel is like any maze in runescape.

 

The faster you do it, the better the reward

You shouldnt have any trouble doing barrows.

 

Just kill dharok first always using prayer, then with your left over prayer go kill kharil. If kharil is your tunnel use your left over prayer on ahrim. After you have killed ahrim kill verac, guthan, and torag without using prayer.

 

Some trips i can go only using 1 dose of prayer potion and i am only level 94.

Personally I get a kill count of 16, and do pretty well for runes.

why do people always so ooo karil you need to use prayer on him i killed him in the tunnles my prayer was at 0 and i had no pots i used a whip and killed him takeing 2 hits - a 12 and an 18 or sumot like that but most the time he just hits 0's i am only 71 deff btw any1 got anything to say about this ? and i would say dh then v both with prayer
