Rares or 99 construction?

I have a santa and a red mask, but as I'm a 10hp pure, they're always in my bank. I am currently spending 30mil on construction (Sold my green mask), and this will get me 85.. Then I need to sell my santa and mask off to get 99. I probably will, as I know I will lose them eventually, however I am trying to keep hold of them as I know they will go up in price.

 

 

 

So my question is : Do I keep the rares waiting for a price raise, which could take months before I like the price and sell, or do I get 99 construction, have an awesome cape, but no cash and no rares?

 

 

 

Note: I am leaning towards 99 construction.

I would go with 99 construstion because its cool but make sure you got enough money left after 99 construction to actually build your house.

I would go with 99 construction. From what I've seen the 'rare market' hasn't been very reliable lately. A few months ago, I went on a break from RuneScape but bought a red mask before I left. I came back 4-5 months later to find out that the mask had gone down 4 million or so. Everything else has pretty much been stable or gone down as well.

 

 

 

In order to get a decent profit from those rares, you'll probably have to wait 5+ months before you sell them.. which seems kind of silly to me. But then again I have a biased opinion, as I don't like rares to begin with.

 

 

 

So I would pick 99 construction.. but then again, I have a biased opinion as well, as I have 99 construction myself and love and adore the skill. So there you go :P

 

 

 

I guess I'm just not a fan of hoarding rares unless I'm not there to look at them (i.e. quit RuneScape for six months and let a rare rot there in the meantime). I constantly feel like it's hanging over my head because I'm always thinking about "all the skills I could buy instead!"

I'm really thinking construction, as I love that skill.. Although I may merchant the santa until I have about 35m for a steel drag + demonic throne :D

Go for 99 construction since your getting 85 already.

Rare's will eventually raise in price, since there are no more of them comming into RS. But skills are always better eh ? :D
