I know the black mask has 10 charges originally, but what do they do? And what happens when they all run out?

When you have a slayer assigiment and you go kill that assigiment, it raises your strength and attack I think by 15%. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The charges just lower the defense of the monster you are fighting. The mask will continue to give the +15% bonuses after the charges are used.
