Best equpiment for training?

Wondering what the best set of equipment would be so far for training on higher level beasts. Below is what I've gotten from a little bit of research on the tip.it site. Any corrections, additions or critiques would be great.

 

 

 

Dragon Full Helmet

 

Dragon Chain Mail

 

Dragon Leg Armor

 

Dragon Square/Dragonfire Shield

 

Onyx Amulet

 

Onyx Bracelet

 

Dragonstone Ring

 

Weapon: Dragon Battleaxe/Dragon Halberd/(One of many magic staves)

Yeah that.. if you can afford spending 100m or so.. otherwise, buy some torag and get a whip for att or a scim for strenth and wear the best jewels you can:\

Actually, Torag's defences are much higher than dragon armor.

but you dont have to repair dragon armour : so you have a choice of either permanant decent armour or excellent armour that needs repairing

If you were going purely for defense for higher levels, it would be something like this:

 

 

 

Head: Torag's helm

 

Body: Torag's platebody

 

Legs: Torag's platelegs

 

Shield: Dragonfire Shield (fully charged)

 

Amulet: Amulet of Fury

 

Gloves: Barrows gloves

 

Ring: Berserker/Warrior ring

 

Cape: Fire Cape

 

Weapon:

 

--Attack training: Abyssal whip

 

--Strength training: Dharok's Greataxe, substitute Torag's for Dharok's armor. If not, then dragon scimitar.

 

--Defense training: Abyssal whip

 

 

 

Of course, ranged and magic would be completely different, but you listed melee, so... yeah. \
