August 1, 200718 yr I'm at barrows and am using slayer dart. I was wondering, will it hurt my hits if I use a rune plate instead of mystic top while using the spell. Thanks, Evanave08
August 1, 200718 yr at barrows, absolutely not! the mage def of the brothers is horrible, but anywhere else your mage bonus will effect how you hit. GL at Barrows!!!!!!!! finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit I laughed so hard I pooped my thong. :lol:
August 1, 200718 yr Im guessing yes since it will lower your magic attack bonus but, I don't think it will make a big difference. Also if you intend to use protect prayers for barrows, then I would go with the mystic top. -----------------------------------------

August 1, 200718 yr Barrows have such horrible mage defense you can mage in just about anything, hence why you constantly hit high. But if you were too say pk with your barrows gear you would be hitting nothing quite frequently, even if they were wearing full melee. In summary the only reason that you can mage like that is because of your opponents mage defense.
