I've worked out that the gold I can mine is worth around 7500.

 

 

 

How much do magic amulets sell for in the general shop, if it is empty?

 

 

 

How much do cut sapphires cost from the gem trader? Uncuts are always out of stock.

 

 

 

EDIT: and could I make money, and decent XP, by mining gold, smithing it into bars, crafting it into sapphire amulets, and enchanting? How much profit would be made?

You can make decent *for not selling to players* profit by selling non-enchanted gems to specialized shops.

 

 

 

Personally, I would stick as much as possible to the shops that are specialized as you make a nice increase in profit per item.

 

 

 

However, you'll almost always make more selling to players.
