now I have to give this guy 10 bread and 10 trout, and the guide says [bleep]ed boots. Where do I get these boots?

He should have given you a pair of un[bleep]ed boots when he asked for the bread & fish. There's a blacksmith to the far north-east in Burthorpe who will [bleep]e the boots for you. Speak to him, he will need an iron bar or two as I recall.
