That's a tough question. You can't just ask "how do I make abstracts?" There isn't really an answer to it.

well i have no clue do i just use the line tool and shoot different colors across the screen

look for tuts around the net. you can start by searching google.

Mine I guess can be considered abstract, and I use renders, brushing, gradients, and tons of other things.
