You can use a bomb, since you just need to get into the mage guild.

I dont know about your mage level but if you need more then a bomb you can also use a mature wizard mind bomb if you dont want to train too much.. But if you are planning to do lunar diplomacy some day just get the level right now (cant boost magic for lunar)
