I have just downloaded photoshop, and was wondering.....Because i am making buttons for a navigation bar, i was wondering how to make them transparent. Also if anyone has any good tutorials ill appreciate it. Thanks :)

To start off: when you click "New" on the bottom, theres a box. Instead of choosing "White" or "Background Color" click transparent. Either that, or hold the left button while youre over eraser and click background eraser.

who says it's an illegal download. how do you know it wasn't paid for online or he's just using the free demo.
