  1. By the looks of your work, its not so much program, but more technique...for a "painting" like those, its more skill than program. However, if paint shop pro doesn't have layers....photoshop is definitely the better choice
  2. I believe mac makes a head, multiplies it by 4 to get the size of his body Cause heads are usually 1/4 of the bodys size
  3. I've been looking into buying a 3d program, mainly bryce 6, since they have the v6 for $6 deal with their platinum club, and cause I've seen nadrils killer abstracts made with it (: I'll probably also wanna do landscapes and possibly people or objects. Any suggestions? I have the C4d trial. Other programs I'm looking into: Maya (Lol@price) 3ds studio max C4d?
  4. To late, Done shading, May re-do it though. You might want to dither your shading...And the character seems a bit too small. The foreground is the same size as the background ( Human is the same size as the walls of MB, and you should make the objects in the background smaller )
  5. The pink spots were created by colour balance ( Highlights all the way red, the rest were cyan/blue/magenta mixes) And when it gets too bright or too dark i tend to soft brush on a new layer, set it to overlay ( Or one of the other modes ) Gonna touch this up tomorrow, hoping I get More cc...then I might post it on dA
  6. Tone them a different shade. ;) If you've got Photoshop, use the Colour Balancer tool. Yeah, thats how I got to the pink in the first place. And thats usually how I end up overcontrasting, going overboard with layer settings on PS :/
  7. Will take that into concideration...also needing a border...plus, the pink highlights don't really fit, after looking at it for a bit. Overcontrasting is one of my problems :/
  8. Decided to make a C4d today. Not sure if any of you remember me or my past works, but meh. Heres the render before postwork: and after: note: this is the second render I've done postwork on, the rest are all just fooling around with C4d :/ Rate/CC? Thanks (:
  9. You know i'm not either, im just trying them out.
  10. I used the method to randomly place colors, but used layer masks on color balance to actually make the colors. Was made for a clan competition.
  11. They filmed the screen with a screencapture program such as Hypercam or Camtasia, then made it into a movie with windows movie maker, or things like that.
