I was using Tip.It's Treasure Trail guide on the main site to help complete my PMG, and I noticed something odd; no matter how much trouble shooting I try, I can't seem to figure out why the Locater is showing it over water:

08.43 South 12.26 East Khazari Jungle, directly South of Shilo Village General Store. You must have started the Legends Quest to get into the Kharazi Jungle

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is this wrong, or am I doing something wrong?

I went to the Khazari Jungle to fins out what the actually place was, but I found out that it was actually the Co-ordinate list that was wrong, not the Pop-up Co-ordinate finder. Looking at the pictures below, you will see that the co-ordinates:

10.22 North 08.58 East ???Outside, next to the Eastern wall of the anvil house in Seers' Village. If you go inside the house and find the stool that's next to the East wall, the spot is just on the other side of the wall.

 

 

 

are incorect.

 

 

 

 

^^The Tip.It list says its farther South, which obviously, is immpossible^^

 

(Sorry, I do not have the correct Co-ordinates for this one.)

 

 

 

 

^^If you were going to go according to the Tip.It Co-ordinate list, you would end up in Seer's Bank.^^

 

(The co-ordinates in the picture match the description in the Tip.It list, which is that you have to dig right outside of the east wall by the stool.)

I'm surprised by this, but I got the same result, even after double-checking your coordinates on our list. (I also tried another fansite, and their popup gave the same results, lol. :-$)

 

 

 

Offhand I'd guess it has to do with the age of the basic map (also used at the other fansite :wink:).

 

 

 

The Crew's "to do" list includes redoing the coordinates locator, but it's a very complex job and we have a lot of maps that need work.

 

 

 

At any rate,

The locator is not 100% accurate, but it's pretty close, and it should give you an idea of where to go with your sextant for the right location.

 

The spot should be on the beach near the crosshairs.

I may be missing the point here, but it seems to me that you are using backwards logic on this problem. These coordinates were originally provided by Jagex and used in the game. Saying that our guide is incorrect isn't helpful - giving us correct information is.

 

 

 

I'd need to see a picture of the actual coordinates clue to do anything else with this, sorry.

Yeah, I thought of that, sorry its not much of a help >.>

 

 

 

If I get one of these clues, I'll post a picture of the clue itself.
