Hey mate, what program do you use? if you use photoshop there are a couple of ways.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select > Modify > Border (and change the # to what ever size you want, the thiner border is 1pixel. This makes the border a bit to thick for my taste)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The way I like to do it is by selecting the Rectangle marque tool.

I use photoshop 7

Well im not sure about photoshop 7, but i heard its pretty close to 8. And i use 8. On 8 you make boarders in 3 simple steps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make new layer, right click select all. rightclick again select stroke. Make stroke of 3 pixels black inside.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make another new layer, right click select all if it isnt already selected and repeat that but with 2 pixels and color of your choice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

make anoter layer and make a 1 pixel black stroke inside and it should work.

orrr you could open it in paint but a one pixel rectrangle around it go in a few more pixels and put another rectangle
