I can't find information on this, can you get multiple sceptre at once? or you need to get rid of it before getting another?

You can get as many as you want ;) I always wield a Pharaoh's Sceptre when I'm playing Pyramid Plunder and I have still managed to receive new ones while wielding my old one.
