I finish the eagles peak quest and got me like 20 ferrets but how do i set up a rabbit snare? do i need wood or something?

Yes you buy it from the shop and set it up in a rabbit track

 

Then you use a ferret in a hole (Only bring 2, the second being if the first escapes)
