Would this be better to use than a crystal bow and if so which bolts should i use?

i heard rune crossbows are better unless you use crystal bow trick :P

yes it is better, although the range of fire is a little shorter than crystal bow. bring ava's accumulator to pick up ur bolts and about 100 telegrabs per trip to pick up the remaning ones. IMO rune crossbow outperforms crystal bow by a mile.. hope i helped.

 

 

 

PS: the fact that ur range of fire is shorter means that u have to wait till prime gets closer or u will be pulled towards him thus having supreme lock on to u. just be careful 8-)

Would mithril bolts be good enough?

rune bolts, some with emerald tips. better if u want. but the guy who ranges in my team has 99 ranged and finds this sufficient.
