So, I was going to enter this in a competition, but got blown away by Demented hero, so, what can ya do, right? Well, I decided to post my progress up here, starting with thisrough outline with some shading done on the main character. the sword is too big

Should have mentioned that..I want it to be that big. On purpose. No use mentioning it, I know no one could lug that around, much less deftly handle it.
