September 2, 200718 yr I'm trying to play a movie through DivX and it plays sound, but there is no picture Also the same case with windows media player, it doesn't show picture. I downloaded a codec pack to try and fix it, and have had no avail. It's worked fine before, I don't know what the deal is. VLC does not work, audio works, no video again.. GRR this is pissing me off.
September 2, 200718 yr Do you have a dual monitor setup? Sounds like a graphics problem. I think I've encountered something like this with hardware acceleration. Check that.
September 3, 200718 yr Author i got it fixed. it was indeed a little mishap with dual monitors :P it was on when it wasn't supposed to be, -.-
