September 23, 200718 yr Ill tell you what I do... I get the healing brush (photoshop), then go crazy with it, set that layer to lighten and rub out bits i don't like. Then I add some C4D's around the foacl point set it to linear dodge or leave it as normal, rub out bits you dont like but leave some on the focal point. Do that half a dozen times. Then I disort the image and rub out bits i dont like. Whatever you do next depends on what the sig looks like. Heres a couple of things... - Add some light to the Focal point (from the direction its coming from). - Disort it a few more times. - Spatter is and rub out most bits (It look good around some edges -see Runemesta's Wolverine sig for that). - Create a few Clipping masks. - Get some splatter brushes, brush them around parts that need a boost, then set them to Overlay or Soft light. Now after the sig starts to look good, you can add some finishing touches.... - Add a few color gradients, and set it to Hue, rub out parts you dont like. - Fade edges to Black. - Add some nice text. - Add a border/s. - Blacken/Whiten or blend in parts you dont like. - Blur/Sharpen to get a good feel. These are just a few things you could do, I just play around and see what looks good, you always should change stuff around in my opinion.
