How do I add rats to my ratpole?

I am working on my achievement diary for Varrock and I must add a full compliment of rats to my ratpole so I have a few questions.

 

 

 

1) How many rats make a FULL ratpole to get it I heard some people say 6 and some 7, I know one guy he told me he had 6 rats on his pole and he said his diary wasn't updated.

 

 

 

2) Approx how long does it take for a kitten to turn into a cat so I can use it to catch rats faster? Also do I need to play with it with yarn or will stroking it feeding it and leaving it on the floor with me work just fine?

 

 

 

3) I read somewhere on tip.it I think a quest guide that a woman from The Rat Catchers quest can turn a lazy cat into wily or something of that nature could someone tell me where she is located?
