Well after the MSN forced update, the new download on to my computer was corrupted. I was unable to fix this problem today when i swicthed on my computer, all my documents and programs had been wiped. I have lost alot of coursework pictures etc...

However 1 or 2 microsoft word documents managed to survive. Is it possible that the other documents are still on my computer? Any ideas how i could find them.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :pray: Thank you in advance.

Yep you can, quite easily.

Important! Try not to save anything or browse the internet untill you have done this! You run the risk of overwriting some files!Generaly try not to use your PC atall!

Go to http://tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/dr.html (I think that is the link) and download it.

Run the program and try to recover your files with it.

If you've recoverered your files, then great! Just carry on where you left off.

If you haven't you may want to seek profesional advice (if it is that important)

the best way is to restore your system to before the forced update.

start->accessories->system tools->system restore

restore your computer to a day or two before the update, and see if that works.
