September 27, 200718 yr Got a range pure with currently 50 Range and I'm aiming for 70 and then going for 99 eventually. Got a couple of questions before proceeding on. I'm currently training on Slayer monsters, is there a better way/place? I'm currently using Red Chins (as my Hunter is 87), should I use something else? Regarding equipment/gear, what is the BEST to use? CHEAPEST? MOST EFFICIENT? I'm not going to do Roving Elves so no Crystal Bow. Is Dark an option I should look into? Thanks!

There are loads (King's training camp, rock crabs, etc.), but I'd still suggest slayer, because training an extra skill is totally worth it Imo. I'm currently using Red Chins (as my Hunter is 87), should I use something else? Better sell them and use the money to buy arrows, or steel+ botls. Regarding equipment/gear, what is the BEST to use? CHEAPEST? MOST EFFICIENT? Best is best vambs + chaps, leather body (if 1 defence), ranger boots, robinhood hat, ava's thingy, glory, archer ring and either a mage short or rune C bow with zammy book. This'll cost about 8,5M. If you want to save some money, swap the robin for a coif, snakin boots for ranger hat and totally skip the archer ring. September 27, 200718 yr If you want to save some money, swap the robin for a coif, snakin boots for ranger hat and totally skip the archer ring. (Do it in that order) Just a small comment - You must have 30 defense to wear the snakeskin boots. :( To the original poster, it would be helpful if you listed the defense and prayer level of your "pure".
September 27, 200718 yr Author 1 Defense/Prayer/Attack/Strength, 35 Hitpoints, & 25 Magic. I might level my Prayer up, but haven't decided yet.
