Last time I was in barrows, a long time ago, I used no ppots. I believe I used veracs bottom, and AH top, and initiate helm. Everything else was standard, slayer dart, etc.

 

 

 

This method was a little slow, and often I had little food at the end, meaning multi-tripping was impossible, however I used no prayer potions.

 

 

 

This was when I was poor...

 

 

 

Im now running with 43M, and was looking to start up this money-habit up again.

 

 

 

What is the best method for me to use to do multi-trips to the barrows? Guthans obviously, but, what about other armor for bro killing?

 

 

 

And all this rare gear worth it to just save some banking trips?

Try briing noted ppots and then getting them back from the Mor'ton general store, if you did the quest. Either that just bring ppots to restore your prayer for each round you want to do, with 60+ prayer, you rarely need a dose of ppot after the initial refill.

I can do fine with prayer potion wise, but, its just the food that kills me. And, no way Im veracing them, my combat skills are terrible. Ill try verac/ahrim combos with different pieces, and maybe Ill just try my luck with guthans.

seeing your only 63 range, id reccomend getting 70 and using rune c bow with diamond bolt e or ruby e against all but karil and melee him using guthans or w/e.. i did this before and i could do 2 chests a trip with 2 ppots. now i use ice bursts with water staff.

That wouldnt make much sense, they have negative magic bonus and +300 or so range? And, me and ice burst stopped talking when it failed and DH pwned me when I brought guthans down, that was pre-55 slayer.

when i fun.. everytime someone uses torags or any barrows i alwayys use diamond bolts or ruby bolts becasue it acts like the def isnt there

Wear your best melee armor, and slayer dart all of the brothers (Asides from Ahrim still) then. Or you can dds spec and whip karils to death. Range Ahrim. And then once you get down to the tunnels use guthans to heal back up if needed.
