i'm 99% sure that this is true, but an npc always wants the same food, and gives the same reward. The gnome from mm east of yanille always wants pineapple punch and gives a gnomeball as a reward, the terrorbird person wants chocolate crunchies and gives you 3 noted toadflax, and the captiain @ duel arena always gives out the scarf.

[pokemama 25 Jul: on taking 22 orders over the past weeks, one guy has ordered 3 different things, 2 have ordered 2 different things, and I've had no repeats. :( Would have been nice, but a bit too easy.]
