i need runecrafting help

ok i have just got my main back after it was hacked and banned over a year ago and have decided to do runecrafting

 

 

 

i'll be mineing and makeing air runes 88k in all

 

 

 

now i need suggestions on how to do it fast with no money and on f2p

One word: impossible. First off, mining 88k regular ess? That'll take weeks and weeks. Second, what's your RC lvl? Third, you'll have to run back and forth from the altar to the bank. You can't make a real profit from F2p Air RCing since the new update. Hate to crush your dreams, you now need 77 RC to make a minimal profit, when using World 16 fast airs.

 

You can make a profit at 22 RC, if you run back and forth. You'll make maybe 20-40k an hour?

i know what you mean with the update i have a differant account i been playing on for about 4 weeks level 54 rc and my profit went to minus figures

Yep, you might as well do other ways of making money. Unless you get members and make nats. But in all, f2p air crafting now makes little profit, even at 77 RC. And the money and time to get that lvl is a lot.

I have no suggestions besides making fires in Al Khrid(you'll still lose money if buying ess), or world 16 airs(massive losses).

And do you understand that he might be encouraging the runecrafter to try f2p rune crafting. And yes f2p runecrafting is virtually ruined but I still made profit. Made 100k airs then the update came out. lost 5 gp an air lost 500k still made 1.5m but you can make money.

Hm, you said you lost 500k, and you made 1.5mil? Care to elaberate? If this person would like to lvl RC, here are his/her options:

 

 

 

1. Craft airs running back and frow from altar to bank, no runners: cheap, makes a profit, INCREDIBELY slow, and incredibely poor exp(airs are the lowest RC exp for runes).

 

 

 

2. Craft airs in world 16: A huge loss, but much greater exp.

 

 

 

3. Craft fires in Al khird: A small loss(if buying ess). Good exp, but very slow as well.

 

 

 

4. Other: Erm, get members, or quit f2p RC altogther.

 

 

 

I think those are your main options.

Also sorry about the last post it wasn't very helpful to you. What I used to do was buying the ess for 20-30 each around 1k-3k at a time (didn't want to overwhelm myself with too much ess). Then take 10k and 27 ess and walk from dryanor village to the air alter craft my airs, on the way back to dryanor I would stop at beatty's magic shop buy Eyes of Newt for 3 gp each. When you finish the 3k ess you will have 15k airs and 3000 eyes of newts. The airs you now have :wall: to sell for 15 or 16 each so thats 225k to 240k for the airs plus you can sell the newts for 100 each thats an extra 300k!!! So you make 525k to 540k if you mine your own ess or 435k to 450k if you buy for 30 each. You can sell the newts on the herblore fourm. If you cant post then have a member friend do it for you :wink: Thats what I do :-$

Sorry about that didn't explain very well. I usually sell my airs for 20 gp each. So I would have made 2m off of my 100k airs. But now i am forced -.- to sell them for less then 17 each so 16each (not many buyers for 16 each) or 15 each. I made 1.5m instead of the originally planned 2m. Therefore resulting in the loss of 500k.

 

If you still don't understand it i don't think I can explain it any better.
