Hi Technology folks,

I have an old machine and i need to accertain if it can hold larger hdd.

My question will be:

Can i access the bios to find out the maximum size hdd my mbb can support?

That's all.

Wow.. cool.. its realli very informative.. as that machine is an OEM Cpu from Compaq, it does not carry any more support to whatever hardware present in the computer.

Hence i deduce bios upgrade is the only way.. risky step..

anyway to back up bios ? I remember there are methodology in flashing bios.. by downloading from the manufacturer website and load it into floppy diskette.

Will there be a hardware reset for bios? I am willing to try but @ the same time i am worried that it might not work..
